KinderHeart – A Waldorf Inspired Kindergarten

Registration opens March 1st, 2021

KinderHeart is a Waldorf Inspired, 3 day a week Kindergarten program in North Boulder that honors the precious ages of 4-6**. We offer a fun yet gentle and nurturing environment that integrates the expressive and practical arts for the the entire family. KinderHeart celebrates seasonal festivals, performances, and honors spiritual diversity.

Our holistic curriculum revolves around the seasons, nature spirits and our “Wheel of the Year” festivals. Each week we journey through sacred story and song, creative movement, rhyme, and imaginative play both indoors and outdoors. We love to cook and garden and offer a nourishing snack each program day that the children help prepare.

Our setting is on one acre of beautiful biodynamic gardens in North Boulder filled with magical nooks, ponds, chickens, climbing trees, and our friendly dog, Jack.

We meet: 9 – 2pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Curriculum Selection Process ~ How I Work with Fairy Tales

The selection of story material for the children is a journey. Taking into consideration the current social dynamics of the children as well as individual children who might need a “pedagogical boost” to address challenging behavior, I set out in search of the “perfect story” to meet the children.
