Re: Looking for just the right KINDERGARTEN ASSISTANT for our
Program year 2022 – 2023
We are looking to hire an assistant for our Waldorf-inspired Kindergarten program, KinderHeart. We are located in North Boulder on 1 acre of beautiful grounds cultivated with medicinal herbs, fruit trees and food. Our grounds are very much a part of our daily curriculum and we are outside in all kinds of weather. We are committed to working with children in a grounded, nature centric, rhythmic, community minded and social health oriented way.
We are looking for someone who has a deep commitment to enjoying their life and their work. Someone who finds working with children exciting and nourishing to them. A Waldorf training would be great but is not mandatory. Here is a list of some things that are:
- Works well with children
- Good communication skills
- Well organized
- Works cooperatively in groups
- Reliable and punctual
- Musical ability, especially singing
- Takes initiative
- Welcomes feedback and direction
If you are reading this and you are thinking: “This feels right but I don’t have everything on that list!” That’s ok; please follow your feeling and call us. If you are reading this and you are thinking: “That FEELS so right and I DO have everything on that list, please CALL right away 🙂
