Hello ~

We are looking to hire an assistant for our Waldorf-inspired Kindergarten program, KinderHeart. We are located in North Boulder on 1 acre of beautiful grounds cultivated with medicinal herbs, fruit trees and food. Our grounds are very much a part of our daily curriculum and we are outside in all kinds of weather. We are committed to working with children in a grounded, nature centric, rhythmic, community minded and social health oriented way.

We are looking for someone who has a deep commitment to enjoying their life and their work. Someone who finds working with children exciting and nourishing to them. A Waldorf training would be great but is not mandatory. Here is a list of some things that are:

• Works well with children
• Good communication skills
• Well organized
• Efficient
• Works cooperatively in groups
• Reliable and punctual
• Musical ability, especially singing
• Takes initiative
• Welcomes feedback and direction

Job details
Contract hourly position starting at $20/hour.
8:30 – 2:30 Tuesday – Thursday,
Staff meeting once a week from 2:15 – 4.
Some outside classroom work
3 major festivals a year (you might check out our calendar page: PROGRAM CALENDAR).
The program year is from the first week in Sept through the last week in May, with a 1 week Thanksgiving break, a three-week winter break and a two-week spring break.
