Emily KallioI am an herbalist and educator with a passion for sharing nature’s wonders with children (link to Summer Herbal Camp 2014). Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a classroom teacher, wilderness trip leader, environmental educator, tutor, and private herbal instructor. I have also completed herbal trainings with a number of esteemed teachers, and earned my M.A. in Educational Psychology through CU. Children have always been a natural fit for me to work with, as I share their enthusiasm for learning and view life as a true miracle. Outside of teaching, I delight in parenting my two daughters, Anjali and Saavi. Some of my favorite activities include cooking, singing, hiking, and almost any wilderness endeavor. It’s a joy to be part of the magic here at Sage’s program!
